Hathor Rising Retreat is a 9-day sacred pilgrimage along the Nile, journeying from Upper to Lower Egypt. Walking the ancient temples of the Neteru Isis, Hathor, and Sekhmet, you are invited to remember, embody, and activate the timeless codes of the Priestess, weaving Spirit into Matter with Grace and Devotion.

“Ladies of the Turquoise” was one of the sacred names of Hathor, also given to her priestesses, women devoted to this Solar Egyptian Goddess who carried the wisdom of Spirit into Form. Through the archetypes of the Mother, the Consort, and the Daughter, they embodied the many faces of the Divine Feminine in service to Life, Beauty, and Sacred Renewal.

The Journey, Day-by-Day

 

Saturday 4 April – Aswan

Arrival at Jasmine’s Temple with an Opening Ceremony. Sunset visit to the old Temple of Isis.

 

Sunday 5 April – Aswan | Temple of Isis

We enter the Temple of Isis and connect with her mysteries. We visit Tengar Island and ceremony in the sacred waters of the Nile.

 

Monday 6 April – Kom Ombo

Sailing along the Nile, we arrive at Pa-Sobek Temple, dedicated to Sobek (crocodile neteru of primal power and fertility) and Horus (falcon god of divine vision and protection).

 

Tuesday 7 April – Luxor | Sekhmet & Ta-Set-Neferu

Arriving in Luxor through the Nile.
Enter the Temple of Sekhmet, the fierce lioness goddess of love and empowerment.
Visit Ta-Set-Neferu – Valley of the Queens, resting place of the beauty of ancient Kemet.

 

Wednesday 8 April – Dendera | Temple of Hathor

Journey to Dendera, the house of Hathor, goddess of love, music, dance, and divine joy.
Hathor, who has guided us into this retreat and the priestess temples of the last decade, welcomes us into union with life and the divine.

 

Thursday 9 April – Cairo | Pyramids & Sphinx

Flight to Cairo.
Journey into the mysteries of the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids.
Visit Tefnut (the Sphinx) and enter the King’s Chamber, exploring the timeless initiation chambers of our Earth.

 

Friday 10 April – Cairo | Goddess Mystic

A day of slowness and wonder in Cairo.
Highlights include: Blue Lotus Lodge lunch near Saqqara, Group tarot reading & storytelling and optional Mystic Goddess lecture.

 

Saturday 11 April – Fayoum Oasis | Desert Journey

Visit the Valley of the Whales.
Magical dinner by the lake in the desert, under the night sky.

 

Sunday 12 April – Cairo

Closing Ceremony and departures home.

Many of us feel the call to visit the sacred land of Egypt on our journey of remembering.


Whether that call comes from the relationship we have with one of the Egyptian Neterus, such as Isis or Hathor, whether it arises through the Rose Path of Magdalene, or whether it is simply the knowing that a part of you still lives there, in that sacred land of wisdom, this pilgrimage springs from a deep place within the soul.

I remember my first visit to Egypt. At the time, I was holding a temple in Cyprus and planning to travel back to New Zealand. Yet a very intuitive call led me instead to the lands of ancient Egypt. I arrived alone, without any plan, guided only by the unfolding of the call. Everything that happened there was magic. I felt at home in a land so foreign...

To travel alone was an act of rebellion, and something I chose because this journey felt so precious that I wanted to keep it private and intimate, like a relationship I wished to protect, cherish, and nourish on my own.

And now, almost a decade later, a group of us feel the call to come back together to the land of the Ancient Future.

The Journey

Ladies of Turquoise

Arriving at the Temple of Isis in Aswan, we are welcomed by Jasmene, a local priestess who has been devoted to the Goddess since her youth. This sacred meeting offers a deeply intentional landing in Egypt, opening the way for our pilgrimage. From here, we begin our journey from Upper Egypt to Lower Egypt, walking the temples of the great Goddesses and allowing their mysteries to awaken our remembrance.
